The only remaining official Ibrosian Commonwealth web presence is the website of the Ibrosian Council.
It is available by following this link.
The site shall hopefully be updated with general information about the Ibrosian state, and shall eventually hold copies of current statutes in force as well as providing a background to the Ibrosian Commonwealth.

From the Lord High Steward to all, Greetings.
Parliament has now not met for some two years, and an associated decline in the civic life of the nation has become apparent. As consequence of the latter, Parliament shall again not be summoned in this year, or in the foreseeable future.
The Constitution resulting from the 2006 Constitutional Convention shall be enacted in the name of Her Majesty the Queen in the near future with the consent of the Estates of the Ibrosian Commonwealth. At this stage, it will be the opinion of Her Majesty's Government that all necessary legislative reform shall be complete and, thereafter, any further legal changes shall be unnecessary.
It therefore seems prudent to affirm the continued existence of the state and note that its law remains binding over its territories and citizens. Whilst political focus shall now necessarily transfer to the Estates, the Commonwealth retains its form and primacy over them. We wish them well in their endeavours.

Due to an essential server change and site upgrade, Ibrosia.tk now redirects to this site.
The Ibrosian Commonwealth is still in existence and currently a codified legal system is being put into place alongside a radical overhaul of the constitution.

The Great Commonwealth of the Ibrosian Democracy
Address to the nation. 7th March 2005.
His Sovereign Lordship welcomes the declaration of the Provisional Government of the Invergowrie Free State affirming its independence from the United Kingdom.
Furthermore, he invites the provisional government to consider a treaty between the two states which shall lead to closer relations and perhaps future unity within the framework of the Protectorate. |
